The thing that seperates the fan bases, imo, is that tOSU's, TSUN's, and the UT's, etc..fan bases are passionate throughout the country. I've watched CFB in a lot of different places. For instance, I watched TSUN play Oregon in '03, in Albequerque, and there were thrity TSUN fans at some random sports bar. Not one Duck.

Yeah, I think Tradition was the wrong word, I meant more how passionate the fan base was. It's the closest thing I have seen to Ohio, seriously, Saturday I got to watch the OSU/scUM game during the morning, but when the Ducks game came on, the streets were dead and everyone was watching the game, I went to a liquor store to buy smokes and they looked at me like "what the hell are you doing not watching the game"

It's probably the only Pac10 team that comes close to comparing to anything in the Big10. Maybe you'd have to see it, but they don't have a pro football team, sort of like Ohio, who doesn't have a real Pro team, so all of that energy goes to the Ducks.

I'm sure the nightlife is fuckin' sweet. I believe you there. My issue is with the "tradition, football" of Oregon. They aren't in the same fucking grading SCALE as tOSU, let alone a few plusses away, imo.
