Still in progress. Thoughts so far?


I'm probably going to modify the bottom defender, with his arms out holding birds like the game.

Need some feedback:

1) A palm tree would clutter it, right? (the duck hunt game has a normal tree on the left, palm tree = cali, etc)

2) Would an 8-bit rose bowl entrance in the background work, or ruin the 'duck hunt on field' feel, since you can't be on the field and see the entrance? Am I just being too picky with that misgiving?

3) The two Os don't work together, do they? I love how each looks individually, but not together.

2) I also thought about making an 8-bit NES style rendering of the Rose Bowl entrance in the background, but then that might kill the 'duck hunt on the field' element of the thing. Should I stop being so picky and just do it?

3) I like how the UO logo looks in 8 bit blocks, but i don't think it works very well with the much smaller block O (even at the same height).

Get your shots in now...well as long as you get them in the next 2-3 seasons you should be fine...

I'm just not seeing the development with this squad. Much slower process than I thought.

1) jthorp is back online today, so you should be able to set up your game.
2) I finished 11-1 in my other OD, set to make the NC after CCG week. OSU was ranked behind me with 2 losses, 1 to me. They leapfrogged me.
3) Thanks to #2, Hoover will feel the full wrath of Willie Beamen. There will be a sharp dropoff at QB after he graduates.

Used a synth called Vanguard and the beats were made with sounds from a sound pack called Vengeance Essential Club Sounds 3. :banger:

oh. for that one, I cut out the player, then duplicated the layer, and used motion blur. Then I tried to make the angle of the motion blur look like it angled out from troy. I had to use a little trial and error.

I'm still struggling with whether to wait for the iphone or jump on the dorid bandwagon. Gmail is my business/personal email, and I love google overall.

Am I foolish to hold out for another 3-9 months for a phone that may never come?

If you could choose one or the other on verizon's network, what would you choose?

p.s. I was thinking you had a droid, so this makes for a strange set of questions if I'm wrong.

Yeah that would be sweet... i am not a paint guru by any means so I was pleased to just get the good old fashioned 8 bit image...lol... Yeah, if you are good you could try to Phil Knight the ducks or something.
