No, you don't want to do the process just for one event. If you don't want to mess with coding much for a one-time event, maybe a simple HTML form to email you would do, though it means manually updating the list results.

I found a Joomla tagging system that might handle photo sorting for you... if you go that route. Actually, 1.6 should be out in beta in a few weeks, and it includes multiple categorization.

I wouldn't think of a wiki for something like that - maybe just a simple form or a guestbook. But a wiki would work, and you could use if for other things, too. This is one of the sites you showed me?

Awesome picture and by all means use the Tressel idea- it isn't even mine!

Make sure you put your name/logo/insignia somewhere on the picture, though. It is sure to be passed around on the Internet once it's completed and you deserve credit for it.

yup I'm doing that now, I finally got over my commitment to true 8-bit (read large blocks for pixels) graphics. Now I'm doing it with jagged pixels, but with 1 pixel differences. It makes the odd angled pieces look a lot better. This is going to turn out pretty well.

I like the overall theme. I think a palm tree on the left could work just fine so long as it isn't too big.

1 - Are there going to be more defenders? Right now something needs to be on the right. An 8-bit Rose Bowl would be cool as long as it's not huge and taking up the whole background. Maybe have it small as if it was off in the distance. I think a palm tree replacing the regular tree would be cool.

2 - The Os might look better if they were on the same line, but space far apart from each other.

3 - Would 8-bit roses in the grass be too cheesy?

love it so far..definately needs some rose bowl elements...skip the palm tree wouldn't really go with the grass anyway
