Can the android view third-party jpegs stored on an inserted SD card? I'm wondering if I can pop my SD card out of my dSLR, pop it into an android phone during timeouts or halftime and tweet a few choice pics to the boards.

Not hard at all. Get some good British shaving cream or shaving soap and a decent badger shaving brush (<$50 but will last you a decade), watch some of the youtube videos on technique and take your time (i.e. don't give up if the first couple of shaves are a little rough).
