The lady I sat beside seemed to know PK and Buchanan, she also mentioned that she had gotten into some hot water for making a comment at one time that foreign players should not be given the title "all american" for finishing in the top 16 of the NCAA's. I marveled at her insight and bravery.
She also seemed to be concerned that her youngest son would want to hit the tennis ball as hard as the Buckeyes. She teaches him to hit under control and down the middle.
I guess I shouldn't have opened my mouth, but I disagreed that the new wave of tennis was power, I think I said something like, "you can always teach control, but never discourage power." She said that that is why all the players are getting shoulder and knee and hip surgeries. I mentioned that I had just had a hip replacement, she asked the surgeons name, (as if she probably knew most of them) and then got up and left shortly after that.
All in all a very knowledgable tennis fan and a good mom to raise her boys as Buckeye fans! Go Bucks!
Mother has long blonde hair, Julian very well tanned, his mother would know quite a bit about tennis:biggrin2: She does know PK quite well because that is Julian's coach. The other boy could Have Been PK's younger brother. You should have asked them about Savannah and
gone from there.
Hey, ant. I just thought I'd stop by to say hey. I hope you're health has improved and you're doing well! Take care, man.
Thought you'd appreciate this (given our Herbie ESPN announcer sidebar), from EDSBS:

You also have this to come back to, dear reader: a chaotic, ungovernable mess of a sport that while molested by numerous meddling television hands never quite gets the full rapine afforded the NFL by Fox Television. You may have to tolerate Craig James and Bob Davie, but you'll never get to listen to Joe Buck's voice announce touchdowns with the desperation of a man with one toe on the trigger of a shotgun he will never fire. Joe Buck and Jim Nantz are the CBS and FOX announcers of record for anything important, and that is the thought that will keep you running into the arms of our collective sports Mubarak (ESPN) every time. They might be despots, but dammit they're not the ones who are going to kill me with long stretches of sonic whitewash.
A grown man calling high school girls who are the alleged victims of sexual assault "those little sluts" is the most disturbing thing I have seen on the internet. I honestly can't believe I read someone saying that about girls as young as FIFTEEN YEARS OLD on this website.

My sister is a rape survivor and publicly speaks about the stigma against victims of sexual assault so that there are fewer idiots like you and more people who understand the situation of the victims in these crimes.
Don't need your permission to post a damn thing. Funny how people have no problem slapping labels on the male HS student before knowing a fuckin' thing, yet when a label is applied to a female, people are so disgusted. But thanks for your concern regardless.
