I'm getting to Columbus sometime friday night. Staying in Grove City and spending most of Saturday on campus. I'm going to try and get into the skull session too. Know of any good spots around campus to eat or some sights?
I know, I know.. your points are well taken, and I was being purposefully ironic about his award. I do think - if the measures we're using are 'hawk' and 'dove' the administration has at least attempted to do both. Interventionist and isolationist are not the same measures, and I think I agree with you when using those as points of measure.

hey, Have you guys had luck securing road press passes for basketball games as a simple website with no publication ? BSB has separate guys for that stuff,but I was considering covering it for BP just for the MSU game, which probably clinches the big ten as the season finale.

Yes Flags of Our Fathers is a great book if you are interested in the topic. It is as much about the flag raisers and their lives both before & after the battle than it is about Iowa Jima. The details about their time during the war bond drives are especially poignant. If you've seen the movie you know much of the story...but the book is still worth reading.
