I personally think he is ruining things for me with that attribute. Makes a serious hate more difficult to keep up.
Wingate, I don't believe I ever accused anyone of "cheating." Cheating to me is doing something intentionally to affect the outcome of something. BB73 made a mistake, and to be honest, I'm not a Big East fan by any stretch, and by not looking at the lines in the paper, I too may have picked Pitt. I know they stink!

Anyway, respect your posts always. You're a great contributor to this site.

Peace, and as always:

GO BUCKEYES!!!!
You have my old trick... Texas Tech QB's!!! It's been a injury plagued year for my squad. Hopefully we can make through to the playoffs and then pull off some wins.
thanks. the threat of a hard drive price hike finally got me to finalize a SSD purchase which should be huge. The rest should be fine for now.
The Q6600 is still a fine processor for the vast majority of people, so I wouldn't look to replace it. You can get by with 4GB of RAM. 8 is now recommended, and RAM is super cheap. Yet no need to run out and get some right now. The GPU looks to be your glaring weak spot, especially if you do any gaming. If no gaming, your GPU will get you by for most regular stuff unless you use CUDA enabled programs (if you don't know what CUDA is, it's does calculations by the GPU instead of CPU....Google it). If neither of those, you are probably fine the way you are. I wouldn't look to upgrade (outside of RAM) for 2 or 3 more years unless you start doing really heavy CPU and/or GPU calculations on a regular basis.
Readog, glad you are back. Your pictures make my heart sing.....(where are the cheerleaders?)....thanks in advance, Calibuck

that is my current limited rig. would it be worth it to upgrade to a better gpu or save up for a full set of new equipment to build, which I would rather avoid ? I need to edit my new 60D hd videos and play infrequent games, as well as edit in Lightroom. my main gaming is on the console
I'm getting to Columbus sometime friday night. Staying in Grove City and spending most of Saturday on campus. I'm going to try and get into the skull session too. Know of any good spots around campus to eat or some sights?
