When daughter was looking at colleges, she said she wanted to go visit USC. Told her that her grandfather would turnover in his grave if she went there. We visited Northwestern on way to visit tOSU, and she heard another kid on tour that he and family going to ND the next day. When daughter asked if we could visit there, said 'can't, you're going to C'bus tomorrow'. And said that if she went there, her grandfather would turn over (vertically!) in his grave......(PS, she teased me about going to Xichigan, and responded, 'you'd better get a full ride +, because not one nickel of my money is going up there'. Apprapos of exactly nothing, just an old guy recounting a memorable experience.

Through January 2025. This list includes CFP playoff games and bowl games (including CFP Title Games), but doesn’t include CCGs.

46-29-3 Alabama
38-22-3 Georgia
37-21-0 USC
33-27-2 Texas
33-21-2 Penn State
31-29-0 Ohio State (4 wins last season)
31-26-1 Oklahoma
31-26-0 Tennessee
31-24-1 LSU
30-18-2 Florida State
27-27-0 Nebraska
27-24-0 Clemson
27-15-0 Ole Miss
26-21-0 Georgia Tech
25-24-0 Florida
24-21-2 Auburn
24-22-0 Notre Dame (3 wins last season)
24-29-0 Xichigan
22-12-0 Oklahoma State

This also counts a Sugar Bowl win over Arkansas because it happened, 1 similar win for ND, FSU, and Ole Miss, and 2 for LSU.

The old B1G rule of only 1 team going to a bowl until 1974 impacts the total appearances of tOSU and TTUN.

The ONLY team with more than 20 of these wins with a losing record in these games resides in the whore-town named Ann Arbor.

If there was any question which of Ohio State and scUM moves meters, it should be clear by now it is the scarlet and gray who people care about, not those piss and blue jackoffs. Fuck them.

Alijah Arenas 'walking, talking,' to be released from hospital

Alijah Arenas, a basketball recruit for USC and son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, is expected to be released from the hospital with no major injuries following a fiery single-car crash early Thursday morning, according to a statement made on Gilbert Arenas' podcast.

"Happy to announce that Alijah is doing much better," Josiah Johnson, one of the hosts of "Gil's Arena," said during the show Monday. "Just got off the phone with Gil. ... Alijah's doing better, walking, talking, progressing very well, should be released from the hospital very soon. No major injuries as a result of the car accident."

Johnson said Alijah Arenas, 18, was driving back from the gym when he "lost control" of the Tesla Cybertruck he was driving in the Reseda area of the San Fernando Valley. According to the L.A. Fire Department, the vehicle crashed into a tree and/or fire hydrant. Video obtained by TMZ shows the front of Arenas' vehicle on fire after the crash, with two people attempting to help remove him from the truck while water sprays from a damaged fire hydrant.

FWIW, There is an article in the Uniquely Gahanna (Spring 2025) magazine on Roy Hall, see pages 18-19:

Apparently he does motivational speaking, is helping with the Gahanna HS football team, and is still running his foundation.

Remember that Tiger's record didn't occur in a calendar year. But to my way of thinking, all four trophies appeared on his living room mantle at the same time, who cares if it wasn't during an arbitrary time period. Never heard of the term 'straddle slam', which isn't significant of anything, but will tuck it away to use at some point in time. I forgot to mention Hogan, Player and Sarazen. Thanks for the correction.

Shaquille O'Neal runs off in middle of live show for emergency bathroom break: 'He couldn't hold it'

Nature came calling for the four-time champ during an episode of "Inside the NBA."

Just sayin': So the next night....

Taking The Piss On 'Inside The NBA'... Trolled With Portable Toilet!!!

Shaquille O'Neal's bathroom emergency wasn't about to come and go without some chain yanking from his "Inside the NBA" cohosts ... with the NBA legend getting trolled with a portable toilet right next to his spot on the desk!!

Fresh off O'Neal's abrupt exit from Monday night's show to drain the snake, his coworkers decided to help him out a bit with some hijinks.

The hilarious prank was documented during Tuesday night's TNT coverage of the NBA playoffs ... something Charles Barkley didn't even notice when he arrived to the studio.

Once Ernie Johnson, Kenny "The Jet" Smith, Shaq and Chuck were all together, they acknowledged the silly antics ... and the four-time champion decided he'd make use of it by pretending to relieve himself during the segment (sound effects and all).

Chuck joked he badly wanted to tip the stall over ... but Kenny advised him it wasn't in their best interest.

When Shaq reappeared, he fully leaned into the bit ... even exposing some toilet paper coming from his waistband and spraying some air freshener.

yawn

I cannot tell a lie, I don't care where he goes as long as it's not here.

Sorry to hear it. I hope he beats it again.
