BIG Ten refs continue to suck. Hope these refs are fined for bad calls that cost a team a TD.
There are at least two kinds of people that need to be either shot or put in jail:

1) Freeway idiots who pass and then get in front of you and go slower.

2) Refs of BUCKEYES games.

WR Reggie Germany (Official Thread)

GOT COOKIES? On Monday, I received word that former Ohio State wide receiver Reggie Germany will open a new Crumbl Cookies franchise in Central Ohio this month, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony to occur on Sept. 28 with former and current Ohio State football players in attendance across a three-day grand opening.

From a Crumbl press release:

A brand new will open in Canal Winchester, Ohio, (6310 Gender Rd.) on Sept. 29th. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place with the mayor at noon on Sept. 28. The grand opening will take place from Sept. 29 to Sept. 30, with lots of activities happening throughout both days. Ohio State football alumni Reggie Germany is the owner of the new Crumbl, so it is only fitting that there will be special appearances of past and present Ohio State football players.

Former OSU Football Player Opening a Crumbl Cookies in Canal Winchester This Summer

Crumbl Cookies has exploded to over 600 stores in 47 states since the company started in Utah in 2017.

According to recent reporting, a new Crumbl Cookies store is opening at 6310 Gender Rd in Canal Winchester in July and the franchise is owned by former OSU football player and NFL wide receiver Reggie Germany and his wife, Keah.

Currently, the couple own a Crumbl Cookies in Dayton at 1530 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, which was the first franchise in the Dayton area when they opened it in February 2022. In addition to the Gender Rd location, Germany plans to open a third store at 1849 W Main St in Troy, along with a fourth location in Springfield set to open early 2024.

Germany shared with What Now Columbus the plans for the grand opening event for the Canal Winchester location and guests can expect a huge grand opening, featuring what Germany calls a pink carpet event, that will include DJs, the Canal Winchester High School band and his former OSU and NFL teammates who will be present for autographs and meet and greets.

Germany has had great success with the cookie franchise in Dayton and he expects the Columbus market to follow suit.

“Our Dayton location is one of the top 10% of stores in the country and we sold over a million cookies in the first year,” Germany said.

Just sayin': From zero point zero to graduating and becoming a real success in the "business world"; he'd be a great candidate to speak to the team on "Real Life Wednesdays".

Rice Owls (official thread)

JT Daniels leaves West Virginia to enter transfer portal for a third time

JT Daniels is the Johnny Cash of college football, as he’s been everywhere, man.

Daniels was the national high school player of the year before he joined USC his freshman year in 2018. He played in 11 games and had 2,672 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes. He would tear his ACL at the start of the 2019 season and would be replaced as the starter by Kedon Slovis. He then entered the transfer portal.

After transferring to Georgia in spring of 2020, Daniels headed to West Virginia last offseason after losing his starting job due to injury in Athens. Stetson Bennett IV took over a third of the way through last season and never relinquished the starting job at Georgia. Daniels reunited with former USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell at WVU. After a down year, Daniels is moving on.

By entering the transfer portal for a third time, Daniels has at least one year of eligibility left, and possibly two if he is granted a medical redshirt retroactively for the 2019 campaign (he should).

'It's just a great opportunity': Rice QB to make history for Owls' season opener vs. Texas

Opening week in college football is always special, no matter how many times you've been a part of it. On Saturday, when Rice plays at Texas, one Owls player is set to be part of his sixth season opener.

Rice transfer quarterback JT Daniels started his career at the University of Southern California where he spent two seasons after becoming just the second true freshman in USC history to start at QB in a season opener. He then transferred to Georgia for two years where he was part of the Bulldogs' 2021 national championship team. Last season, JT was West Virginia's starting quarterback.

He now takes over at Rice, where he has been voted a team captain for the 2023 season. Due to an injury in 2019 and the COVID season of 2020, 2023 will be JT's sixth year of college eligibility.

When he opens his Rice tenure at Texas, Daniels is believed to be the first college player to ever start three games at Texas for three different teams. He also played in Austin for USC in '18 and West Virginia in '22.
.
.
.
Daniels' team lost both of his prior starts at Darrel K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, with USC falling to Texas 37-14 and West Virginia being defeated 38-20.

Just sayin': He lost at Texas Saturday too (37-10).

Big Boosters Call The Shots

Having lived in Texas for several years, read how the airports in Austin and College Station (and other cities), were awash in private jets flying in for a Saturday game. If one looks at the dates above Script's great post, you might notice they read 2005, which indicates this has been happening for awhile. It's really 'always about the Benjamins', and with NIL, is now legal. Read somewhere that Texas benefactors have told Sarkesian that they had a top notch safety that needed a scholarship offer, and to sign him. Not entirely certain that could be considered 'real news', or fake. Do know that contributors have gotten coaches fired, or hired, with donations made for this specific purpose. Heck, how much do we really know about Les Wexner 'controls' at tOSU? Did he get Kristine Johnson canned? Would be a great read if one brave reporter/writer would do an indepth on this issue or topic. Also believe that these guys move in the shadows (some want the pub however), but mostly are puppet masters, pulling the strings. Great topic, Script. PS, am betting that Silicon Valley money directs Stanford's path, but hasn't ever made its appearance on the gridiron. Go Bucks!
