Zwick vs. Smith (official thread)

And here's an example of someone who is completely unable to admit that he was wrong. Yeah your right... I'm just not a "real" buckeyes fan... pathetic.

Erm, wrong about what? I never said Smith shouldn't start this week. All I've said is that he absolutely should. I did say I think there should be a wide open competition for the starting role in the Spring between Smith, Zwick and Boeckman, but, ah, I'm not sure how that's wrong.

So quantify where exactly I'm wrong, and how exactly I'm pathetic?

Then explain how, in the midst of a very possible upset of our archrival, and the #7 team in the country, when we've lost 4 games this season -- you talking about divisive shit like who is "right or wrong" about Smith makes you a "real" Buckeye fan?

If you're going to spar with me, Sparky, you better have your shit straight. Right now you don't.

I put him back in the green myself. He made a stupid (IMO) comment and got slapped, now he has a chance to start fresh. If he rates red, I have no doubt it won't be long before he's back there. Otherwise, he can figure out what we're about over here, and be less Nuts and more Buck.

No animosity yowards Zwick, but I think we may have just seen our multi-dimensional weapon at the QB position for the next 2 years emerge today. He needed to step up huge to anchor himself, and he did that...more power to him, and I'm glad he's up to the challenge.

I think this is a good non-game thread post.

In my mind and hopefully everyone's mind that oberved the game, TS is our starter and NOTHING between now and next season can change that. Short of an injury, felony or 6 pick bowl game :) .

I think this is a good non-game thread post.

It was in the game thread, that was 90% of the problem. But to be honest, I was sick to death of the cheerleaders for either individual player around the first game of LAST season -- so when the first post I see on the site, during the Michigan game, is one like this, then someone is going to get choked.

I split this thread out because it didn't belong in there. Frankly, I don't personally feel the mindless "my player is better than your player" shit belongs on the site at all, but despite it being my site, I don't feel that's my call.

So as a user I'll smack the offender, as an admin I'll merely keep the game thread about the game.

Unless I get pissy, then you're all fucking banned.

Vote for Ginn/Zwick(edited)

Unless you really think Lydell will be Offensive MVP :roll2:

Not sure why Holmes or Nuge didn't make the list...
