You're a hipster if.....

I was given a small coffee bean grinder and coffee beans as a Christmas gift. Decided to give it a try this morning.

I am now a hipster... apparently. Or should I go get tested first to be sure? I'd hate to give this to my lady friend.

You certainly should be tested before you give something to your lady friend.

Having said that... I've had a coffee bean grinder since millennials were drinking Capri Suns after U-8 rooting for BVB 09 practice.

(This is the shame of hipsterdom, they made cliche plenty of perfectly good stuff that older and wiser folks already liked. Fixie bicycles and vinyl records, not so much)

Preach. Most, if not all of my "hipster tendencies" were things I liked before those no muscle having bitches ruined everything.

Also, be careful-now we're going to need a thread called: "You're a millennial if..."

I think we have one... it might be titled, "I weep for the future" though.

Funny thing is, I mean (crappy bourbon aside) I remember ordering either a Manhattan (the more likely) or Old Fashioned at the bar of my brother in law's wedding in about 1994. Dude next to me was all, "Are you from the 1950's or something" and that was probably the more likely answer. I never thought it was cool, thought I was drunk though. That dude and I had about 7 more in the next 2 hours... fucking wedding party pictures took forever.

My late grandfather used to love
old fashion's... After he passed I decided to give it a try. Ended up really liking them.

I ordered while out last weekend, waitress immediately asked me " oh, So you watch MadMen?"

I had to google that shit. Apparently I belong living in a different era.
