Your very first job

My first 'job' was a caddie at Heatherdowns CC in Toledo in the early/mid 80s. I think the going rate was $18 for a round, plus tip. Not bad for a walk in the park, though some of the golfers were complete assholes. It definitely taught me that your actions on a golf course tells a lot about your character.

My first real job was bagging groceries at Food Town. It was easy, but it was boring as hell. I don't remember how much I made - it was probably barely over minimum wage. I remember how happy I was that they fired me for being unable to work the day before Thanksgiving. After that, I got a much better job working in produce at the Anderson's in Maumee. I think I started at around $7.00 and worked there throughout High School and returned over Chrismas breaks in College making fruit baskets at night.

Right on with that! I did that, on the third shift no less. Working as a dishwasher as the Max and Erma's at Kenny and Henderson on busy as hell OSU football game nights was much better than that.

Nice, my first multi-day (as opposed to odd-jobs) job was working the milk can game at the Fair when I was fifteen.

Mine was a caddy at Meadowbrook CC in Dayton OH. This was in the early 90's and I still got $18 per round. Barely got a tip over $5 either. Bunch of assholes at that club. Now its owned by a management company and they basically have to give away memberships. Serves them right!

Paperboy, was tough being 12 getting up at 4:30am on the weekends and delivering papers all over, but that whoppin' 30-50 bux a month I got made it all worth... aah who am I kidding? that job sucked so hard, when I was 16 and got a job at Burger King I was living large!
