Couldn't agree more. Way to much money on a week old gf. I would have done the nice dinner and the flowers. The jewlery a week in is a bit much. As for you buddy he is just a real dumbass. 300 dollar digital camera? thats insane for a v-day present, esp if they have only been dating a month. My guess is that he is dumped within 6 months.

I try not to judge his decisions, he had a fiance cheat on him about 4 months ago and it really messed him up.

Still up in the air, she's applying for grad school and one university in particular is John Hopkins, which would be close. Her older sister also lives in the Baltimore area, so she was initially drawn there as she is not close with her divorced parents. If something were to happen, I will not live with anyone till an engagement were to take place, which is centuries away.
