Yeah.. all this. Lucroy deal is fair. Overpaying for Miller at least a little.the lucroy deal is good. cleveland has been dangling mejia for a while now. there are rumors that he's been a headache at every stop and his current output is not sustainable, therefore, they are selling high on him. Chang will never sniff middle infield here, and center field is held down pretty wellwith naquin, so allen isn't necessary to hold on to.
the package for miller stings a little, but given the current state of the indians, you can swallow it. overall, decent job of selling high on some guys and using players at blocked positions to sweeten the deal. also, lucroy is minimal napoli insurance if he walks in the offseason.
Edit: The Cubs front office must be pretty upset, as the yankees definitely got more for Chapman, who is going to walk in the offseason, than they did for a guy with 2.5 years of club control.

I don't know how much more the return for Chapman was.
Chapman = MLB bullpen arm and a top 25 prospect that is still in A ball
Miller = near MLB ready top 25 OF prospect and top 100 pitcher still in A ball
Not sure of any of the other throw in guys but as far as the core of the two deals I don't see a huge discrepancy when you factor in time till impact.
With the years of control over Miller, still seems like the Cubbies paid more.
Except there were 5 teams (at least) interested, and this was the best deal.Damn. As a Brewers fan, this doesn't exactly kill me. After seeing what the Yankees got for Miller, I was feeling like Cleveland fleeced Milwaukee a bit.
Lucroy might be hoping for a trade to another team such as the Mets.
