You do realize that Marlin Jackson is playing great football for the Colts this season and that he is the best corner on that team right? Jackson intercepting Tom Brady last season in the final seconds of the AFC Championship sealed the game and prevented the Patriots from having yet another come from behind victory. Jackson is among the best corners in the NFL.

Marlin has done well for himself in the NFL, as well as many UM defenders (some who were pretty mediocre in AA). Jackson vs Holmes (03 & 04) & Hall's final two games are lasting memories on an OSU board.

Bottom line is that OSW is absolutely correct. This idea of "SEC speed" is such a crock. Ohio State and Michigan are two of the fastest teams in the nation. If you think otherwise you are a dolt. (OK, so I called half the pundits in sports journalism "dolts;" so what?)

If you want to argue that Mississippi State is faster than Iowa I might buy your argument, but on the other hand who gives a shit?

Leon Hall has 60 tackles, 4 INT's, and 12 passes defensed as a rookie. He's had his ups and downs, but then again he's only a rookie and his front 7 is among the worst in the NFL. Hall is a solid corner as a rookie, and within 3 seasons he'll be one of the better ones in the NFL.

My bad, last I saw both of them in the piss and blue they were getting abused. I don't really follow scUMers after that.

In the games I've seen, I have not been impressed with Leon Hall. That being said, I have been unable to watch the last several games, so perhaps he is playing better now than earlier in the season.

I won't be holding my breath for him to become one of the best in the league.

You are right, I've watched him as well and regardless of stats he isn't very good. I don't know a single Bengals fan that was happy when they drafted him or happy with him now.

I just don't feel like arguing with the troll this morning. If you've noticed his posts anyone who doesn't agree with his scUM slant is an idiot or misinformed. He's even arrogant enough to presume to tell us a player will be one of the best in the NFL in 3 years like its fact.

Typical scUM arrogance, if not for the BKB angle he'd have been banned by now.

I've watched every game Hall has played in, and while he has given up some big plays he's also made some big plays. To write him off is incredibly foolish. First of all he's a rookie, very few rookie corners ever come into the league and dominate. Secondly he's on a horrible defense.

Troll? If anybody on these boards is a troll, it's you. If you've noticed anybody who doesn't agree with you, hate Michigan, and go down on Jim Tressel with every post needs to be silenced or ridiculed.

Oh, and where did I say that Leon will be one of the best within 3 years? Leon will never been in the upper-echelon or an elite corner. I did say he'll be one of the better corners in the NFL within 3 years, and if you can't get beyond your hatred of Michigan to see the kids potential and talent then that is just arrogance on your part. One of the better CB's in the league means that he'll be a viable starter for a team for many years. One of the best in the league means that he'll be a star and make many Pro Bowls. Leon is going to be one of the better ones, not one of the very best. Marlin on the other hand is quickly becoming one of the very best.

Argue your position, that's fine. You'll need to earn the right to figure out who's trolling and who's not. This IS a Buckeye board. If that's a problem for you, then it's best if you don't stick around.

I vouched for you because I don't think you're trolling, but I cannot endorse you calling out long time, contributing members of this site. Jax has earned his place here.. You have not yet. Get it together.
