Superstar wrestler Chris Benoit sent "several curious text messages" to friends before taking his life in the Fayette home where his wife and 7-year-old son lay dead, Benoit's employer, World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Website Tuesday.
Police late Monday called the deaths a murder-suicide.



WAGA-TV reported investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday.
Police have not said how the three died. The bodies were found in three rooms. Autopsies were planned for Tuesday.
"The details, when they come out," said Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard, "are going to prove a little bizarre." Continued...

I'm assuming through forensics (body temperatures) they were able to establish some times of death, or at least an order...

when i first heard this it was really sad, but after reading that it was chris that killed his wife and son it just makes me sick to my stomach.

how in the hell could you ever do that? why would you kill your wife and your 7 year old son? i just dont understand that.

Yeah, I agree with OCBW. The tributes need to stop at this point. What kind of a piece of shit kills their 7 year old son? Maybe the guy had a mental disorder? But if this where or is the case, that information would no doubt come out at this point. That is the only semblance of compassion I could have for this guy. Otherwise I hope there is a special place in Hell for him.

Maybe it was Roid Rage? I guess we will find out after autopsy results are reported. This just makes this tragedy even worse for the surviving relatives.

There are still rumors floating around that it may have been the wife that killed the child, then Benoit killed her then himself. Could help explain why he ditched the PPV on Sunday because of a family emergency. Maybe he came home to that scene, freaked out, killed her, and the took his own life the next day. I would like to hope that a guy that was known for being about as upstanding as they come in the business would kill his whole family, but who knows. Roids and/or painkillers could do strange things.

Either way just a really fucked up situation.

I guess it is possible, but they are really making it sound like it was in fact Chris himself that killed them both.

dude you are an idiot. you could just wait UNTIL we actually know for a fact that he did it as opposed to accusing him of false allegations as of now. i am going to laugh hysterically if it turns out they were murdered or the wife killed them instead, yet you are ragging on a guy that was murdered because you don't have any information.....genius.

So until it is confirmed we should be praising the life of him, the GREAT family man he was? common now.

By everything i have read, I have no sympothy for sending that email to wwe. Granted my one little email will do nothing but thats all i could do.

I have said my prayers for chris's still living family and friends but chris can burn in hell for what he did.
