Just to get it on the record in this thread, since this is where speculation belongs.
Newsday's Greg Sarra wrote an article that had a headline saying 'Gwaltney picks West Virginia' - which Jason himself has now denied to Alan, saying no family member was a source for the story. Sarra now calls the article 'speculation' on his part. Good grief, is he a reporter or a BN poster?
For the record, Greg Sarra = major ass-clown. I hope he's wrong and gets some major heat.

Lot's o' media outlets are running with the Newsday story. Hmm, sounds all too familiar, doesn't it?
Does anyone know for sure when JG is planning on announcing? I know he was originally planning on doing it this afternoon on ESPiN. Now I'm hearing that it's been pushed back, again; and he'll hold a press conference on Wednesday morning. Anyone know what's going on for sure? Is today's annoucement no longer in the picture???

HAD to share this...
I was talking to a buddy of mine last night who lives outside LA, who is hoping JG picks USC. THe last few lines of the conversation went something like this:
ME: Well, it looks like tOSU and USC still are in it but it looks like WVU is making a pretty strong run now.
HIM: Yeah, I guess we'll know tomorrow.
ME: OK I'll call you tomorrow about 5:30 or 6 and we can either rub it in to each other or talk about our disappointment.
HIM: 5:30??? He is announcing out here at 1:30! Maybe he wants to give the good news to USC first before letting your Buckeyes and the Mountaineers down.
ME: ..........................................

all I could do at this point was fight back the tears because I was laughing so hard.
HIM: What's so funny?
ME: Nothing, I'll call you at 1:30 and get the news from you first.
HIM: OK talk to you later.

He is an alright guy, I have known him for about 25 years. Just not always the quickest on the draw. He actually is from Ohio but has always liked USC. I always had harder time understanding that than I do understanding how people from Ohio root for scUM.
