ummm baseball was the first of the American-born sports to truly blossom overseas....and he's NOT the first non-American to win the World Series MVP either.
In fact the Japanese might not be playing baseball without the American occupation post-WWII.

You probably should anyway, I'd deserve it.
I guess it's mostly directed at the hatred of the Yankee organization, because i'd take Hideki Matsui on my team any day of the week. I apologize for my insensitive remarks.
