Wrestling Chat (WWF, WWE, WCW, etc.)

Pretty good TLC ending last night. Other than Shaemus retaining that is...........Reigns beat the hell out of Triple H. I can only assume this will lead to Reigns vs Trips at Wrestlemania.
You knew they were going to have to do something, because of the combination of depleted roster, lack of big name story lines, and the December PPV often being a throwaway before stuff starts building in January. I had seen they wanted to do Rollins vs. HHH initially, so I guess Reigns HHH makes sense now. Interesting to see what the WM title picture will be, with Rollins, Bryan, and RKO out and a likely Cena/UT match.

Bray Wyatt vs. Shameus

That was a crazy good match, but those guys took way too many chances. Any one of those bumps could have killed somebody.

yeah....especially the bumps the lucha dragons kept taking....there's a reason a bunch of the late 90s/early 2000s wrestlers were hooked on pain killers and it's matches like that which did it....

They have talked about flipping Wyatt, but I don't see how they'd do that at this point, unless the family turns on him.

It seems pretty clear that the Wyatts and the LoN need to go at it at some point....Stroman is an absolute monster....

That finisher though. JFC.......That's up there with The Worm as worst finisher ever.

Give creative credit. They needed a strong, healthy face. RR could fill that spot but there were no super heels to give him that push to get all of the arenas behind him. The last two nights of him taking on the LoN and Authority all by himself put him over. I see him holding the belt until wrestlemania with Lesnar winning rumble to set up the challenge.

Lesnar/Reigns for the second WM in a row? Have to think they are angling towards something else. I could foresee HHH screwing Reigns out of the title at RR, but I don't know who would carry it, because I think last night was evidence of capitulation on Sheamus as WC. Be interesting to see going forward.

Interesting ending. Crowd was actually behind Reigns. Is that more of a good sign for Roman, or just the fact nobody likes the Irishman. Could Reigns actually hold the belt until Mania and Trips challenge him for it?
You can see their efforts over the past months to get the crowd behind him. It's kind of the Austin thing again, but people are so tired of HHH and the Authority, it is working...for now.

The fans are much more tired of the Authority than Reigns.

Exactly-for me, Stephanie emasculating everyone makes them appear weak. She needs to go away, which is the problem. It isn't about comeuppance, it's about leaving. Just. Fucking. Go. Away.

I'm fine with HHH as the authority figure, especially without Kane/Show/J+J...My fear is that it's all a big setup to Cena returning. That would be disgusting.
