WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

No. He would be used in "wildcat" or "Tebow" packages. You don't redshirt a kid with that kind of talent. You find a way to utilize him so that he can win games for you.

If he eventually develops into a starting QB, then so much the better.
We have 3 qbs that can run. Cardale is huge. Jt can run. Braxton... You want to put in a freshman running qb with a cannon arm in for a 5th year senior running qb with a cannon arm? NO! BAD!

If JT, Braxton, and Cardale are all here next year, I wouldn't expect him on the field at all.

Yep, always a good idea to bench a potential playmaker for a year.

Is he expected to enroll early?
If not I'd expect Jalin to retain wildcat.
If Brax comes back as the QB, maybe Gibson can grow into the wildcat under Marshall as the year goes on.
If Brax comes back but decides to play a different position, he'd obviously jump everyone for the wildcat role.

Reality is, this team is just stacked when it comes to gifted athletes.

Is there any way this ends without someone transferring? Miller and Barrett are the choices for next year, and that isn't even mentioning Jones (who I doubt came to school to sit behind Barrett). This kid may not even start at QB until his senior year. I know this is a "good problem," but managing egos can be tough. It's amazing that we're able to do it with so many great running backs on the team.

What plays would Gibson make that Braxton wouldn't? I see it if you have jt and cardale because Gibson is entirely different. But Gibson is a younger, less polished version of Braxton. At any other position this makes sense because players need rest. I just don't see a play where taking out Braxton to play Gibson is a good idea. If you're talking playmakers I challenge you to find one better than Braxton. Unless you see him somewhere other than qb which could be a risk the coaches don't want to take.
