WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Quarterback rankings moves
Torrance Gibson - Though he's not slotted as a quarterback, Gibson was dropped from the five-star range based on a number of factors. At the quarterback position, we haven't seen him develop as a passer the way we had hoped a five-star would. When you consider him strictly as an athlete, he's had the opportunity to separate at a few settings in the summer and he hasn't differentiated at either wide receiver or safety. We still think he's one of the best prospects in the nation and a Top100 level talent but he's moved down into the middle of the Top100 rather than the five-star range.

The "ratings game" is just to sell content. Make money for the people running the sights. This kid has so much talent he could do anything. There is not a team in the country that would not love to have him!

No, we have a redshirt freshman. Big difference! A year in a schools system is much different than an 18yo who barely has a hold of the entire playbook over the 8mos he's been enrolled.
As far as any 2015 incoming QB is concerned...there's no difference. Both would have the same amount of time left at the school.

So you're saying there's no difference between a true and redshirt frosh? Having a year in college in a system certainly makes a difference. Manziel and Winston as true frosh were different players after a redshirt year and both won Heismans. Barrett redshirting last year has definitely helped him this year
And as far as depth charts are concerned between his finalists, OSU looks best for him to get a shot at QB. And regardless of class, his style doesn't fit Miamis scheme. Leaving it an Auburn-OSU battle at the end of the day
