WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I don't have any concrete proof that came directly out of TP's mouth, but there are several factors at play here... 1.) You have Ryan Mallett in ahead of him for the foreseeable future, 2.) You just offered a QB, and 3.) He's a bad fit for your system...
I know a lot of the Michigan "hype" with TP stems from the fact that his cousin is Toney Clemons, and while I feel you will get an official visit, I don't feel you will end up in the final 3 for his services...
Totally agree with all of this. My only real point was that any school that gets an official has a chance. Kids may love the coaches, find the city to be a great fit, like the uniforms, etc. Never and definitely just aren't words that belong in recruiting.

I think just about everyone on BP would agree with this post. As has been stated earlier, we can likely expect the recruitment of TP to be full of rumors, "inside" information and a long wait.

Terrelle Pryor has also said that Toney is not attempting to sway him to Michigan either.

Terelle indeed showed up. Tressel introduced to him the Chris Speilman, who is there with a bunch of other famous former players, and then personally took Pryor back into the new section of the WHAC. Even better, Troy Smith is also there and took Terelle aside. We are showing him the red carpet...

I'm excited about reading this about Terelle. I would certainly like having him be a Buckeye.

For Terrelle's own sake, I'm excited about Troy Smith taking him aside... that could only have a positive impact on Terrelle.

how isn't meeting former players a recruiting violation?
I believe it's an OK thing when former players just "happen" to be on campus and are visiting with the coaching staff when recruits arrive. I believe it's not OK when former players contact the kids on their own, off of campus, and stuff like that. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it works something along those lines.

Word is that Terelle is on his way to meet up with another OSU head coach....hmmm, I wonder who that would be? :wink2:

I can't recall the coach's name but according to an NBA mock draft I saw on TV last night that coach may have 3 of his kids go in the first round, 2 being lottery picks.
