WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

well... it took a year, but they finally turned Terrelle into Todd Boeckman.

I don't know enough about football to evaluate his foot work or his throwing motion, but I do know people, and I read people well, and a little part of him was ready to quit the team in disgust tonight.

He needs to keep his head on a swivel.

Stop zeroing in on your receivers.

and audible out of those god-forsaken first down, two back formation tailback into the line. I mean, we might as well play three down football if we're gonna do that.

It's a shame bcause the defense did enough to win tonight, until Joe McKnight decided he wanted it really really bad. The qb didn't win the game for USC tonight.

But back to TP. wot the heck?

I am about as die-hard a fan as you will see, and I waited an hour before posting, but I wouldn't be surprised to see TP transfer after this year.

Sheesh, that was hard to watch.:(

haha TP transfer, thats not gonna happen considering he has a osu tattoo on his arm. he will continue to get better but the offensive coordinator needs to realize that his strength is running not passing, your not going to change him. They need to run more 5 wide and then have him run it if his 1st and 2nd checks are not open.

Obviously, TP did not have a good game. I really wanted to be [censored]ed at him about taking the sack which put them out of FG range, or [censored]ed at him about the INT he threw, or even his lack of composure on the final drive... but then I saw his face as he walked off the field and it was then that I realized that I am just a dumbass (albeit passionate) fan who doesn't even know a tenth of the pain that he is feeling right now. Frustrating night for sure, but there will be much better days ahead for TP. Lots to work on, but I am pretty sure that work is something that he is not afraid of.

Losing sucks... but I guess it makes winning feel that much better. Here is to hoping that we don't have to feel this again the rest of the year.

:oh:

Amen!

One thing I noticed too early and throughout the game, when he is scrambling albeit a QB draw or when he has to scramble and is out of the pocket and is being chased by 3 defenders with no room, THROW THE BALL AWAY instead of running out of bounds for a 4-5 yard loss. That's my only gripe with TP. Other than that, he is young and will be stellar, just has some room to grow in various parts of his game.

I remember one instince where Pryor ran out of bounds, but the play was a qb sweep, so he couldn't throw the ball away.

I may have missed some other plays where this happened though.

You gotta understand, more than likely there was lineman downfield so he couldnt throw it away.
