Pitt has Pat Bostick coming in and he's rated considerably higher than Henton was coming out of high school.

No, not worried. If a kid is overly concerned about the depth chart, then Ohio State is probably not a good fit for him. Ditto for Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, Texas, etc. The top programs all have deep depth charts at nearly every position, and most recruits understand that. The top recruits generally aren't afraid of the depth chart, and they welcome competition; the ones who are afraid to compete probably won't amount to much anyway. By all accounts, Pryor is a competitor who will expect to earn early playing time.

Very true. Top programs like tOSU want guys who embrace the challenges.

they have 6 QBs on scholly and we have 4.

we have a top 5 class and Pitt is maybe top 25. We are on the verge of becoming a basketball dynasty or powerhouse.

The only school that I think has a chance is Florida IMO or expect USC to get in the mix before it is all over. With meyer calling Pryor on his cell phone during the NCAA championship game was serious business.

Henton will have to iron out all of the bugs in his game if Pryor comes to OSU.

Henton would be an excellent mentor for Pryor.

Personally, I think if he's afraid of competition, I would not want him, if you'e afraid to compete coaches will eventually pick up on that and the chance of earning early playing time would disintegrate (sp?).

But I'm pretty sure Terrell knows he's good enough to play anywhere in the country and that he's not afraid to compete with any QB.

Pitt reeled in 5* and #6 national ranked QB Pat Bostick last year.
There will be competition at Pitt or anywhere else for that matter.

I was going to link TP's basketball thread to give you your answer and then I look on his bball thread and you asked the same question...if you look next to the names on the thread title, it will say (OFFICIAL OFFER) or it won't. This indicates whether or not they have received an offer :wink2:

If he's as elite as billed in football, I doubt he worries much about depth chart. He should the man-boy, wherever he decides to matriculate.

Now basketball on the other hand, is an entirely different issue. You mentioned how OSU was becoming a basketball powerhouse, but that has his drawbacks as well. He is insistent upon playing both sports, and is reportedly not as good at basketball (albeit still schollie worthy). It's going to be a lot tougher for him to see playing time at a "powerhouse" basketball school as opposed to just a good one. Especially a school which has successfully recruited quite a few swingmen lately. Good luck coming into the fray at midseason, and trying to get an edge over; Lighty, Turner, Buford, Diebler, Wallace, etc. The sledding at Pitt is going to be a lot less tough talent wise, even though they are still a good program in that aspect as well. In conjunction with the fact he says he doesn't want to stray too far from home, and it's going to be very tough to keep him out of state, with the favorite IMO being Pitt.

That's my outsider view.
