WR Taurian Washington (official thread)

Taurian is just a good football player with a knack for getting open and catching the ball. I'd compare him to Jason Avant. Avant ran a high 4.6 and a low 4.7 at his most recent workout for Scouts at Michigan. Better than the 4.8 he ran at his Pro Day. He isn't a terrible player or a scrub just because he can't run a 4.4-40. Jason was just All-B10 and he had over 1,000 yards receiving.

Washington is the same way in my mind. Who cares if he only runs a 4.6? As long as he gets open, catches the ball, and scores touchdowns that's all that really matters. Washington had almost 1,000 yards receiving and double digit touchdowns on less than 40 catches. He also goes up against one of the best HS CB's in the nation in practice every day.

Washington is a stud football player.

Taurian was impressed with tOSU's spring game. He liked the fan support, the coaches, and the facilities. He's considering tOSU (no offer), Michigan, Michigan St., Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Illinois and Iowa (all offered). He says he may be back down to Columbus on May 5th for the Nike Camp.
