WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

He's an "in space" guy. He would take a beating as a running back.

Your going to see Flash the Slash imo. 10-15 carries a game between sweeps, reverses, zone reads, and perhaps a few traditional run plays. Apart from that get him the ball on screens and others passes in the slot and on KR and PR...I would love to see Posey and Flash back there. Point is create ways to put the ball in his hands.

I can really see Lamar used in the exact role Percy Harvin is in at UF. Start him in the slot and motion him into the backfield for 10 plays a game.

I agree with this comparison.

Hopefully, if TP commits to tOSU, we could be looking at a future Tebow-Harvin combo, only I think that they could be better.

tOSU would have better true WRs, as well as a go-to star RB with Beanie, which IMO would be a more balanced and dangerous offense than Florida currently has. All of the options would only make LT more dangerous as he wouldn't be the workhorse option that Harvin has to be when UF feeds the ball to him every other play, and he would be able to get more one-on-one matchups.

Oh the possibilities.........

Ge, no one has thought of that before...

Right, which is why I quoted billmac91 when I made the post.

I agreed enough with him comparing LT to Harvin that I thought I would elaborate a bit more with my opinion just the next part of my post...

Beanie will probably be gone before these guys have starring roles...

True, though he would be there for atleast their freshman years, and potentially (though unlikely) he could come back for his senior year, making them true sophomores that season.

Point is, Tebow and Harvin made an impact just their freshman year, and became full out stars as sophomores. And it may not necessarily be Beanie, but I'm sure another RB will step up and solidify the role.

By GH...great interview with Lamaar's mom...talks at length about her son as a person and how he and his family went through the recruiting process.

IMO, not enough interviews done with the moms...nice work by Gary on this one...

Yes, thanks indeed for this. I woke up with no other view than to tell the world, the Buckeye world anyway, that I got a real good feelin' about our LT.

He somehow strikes me as a superhybrid version of MaurClare & TeddyG with a little bit of sure-hands Gonzo in the mix, thank you very much. I really believe we have ourselves a boneyfide superstar in the making. With his superior natural gifts(you know--SEC speed), I think He's fearless and therefore limitless. I say, expect big things, Oh ye faithful!!
