WR Ray Small (official thread)

Free Rivals

7/11/05

From Rivals.com...although not a member of the Top 100, Ray has been named to Rivals Top 250.

Small has explosive speed, running the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds and the shuttle in 3.96 at the Blacksburg NIKE camp. Ohio's No. 5 overall prospect also plays for one of that state's top programs.

From the Florida site...Ray used the bus trip this summer to see how different staffs related to the players. Florida's recent offer moved them into the #3 spot on Ray's list, bumping Iowa out of the top 5. He still lists USC and OSU as his favorites, with Florida, UNC and LSU close behind. He would like to play as a freshman.

Ray Small and Robert Rose

With some of the best players in the state of Ohio on one team, Glenville is a favorite, once again, to make it deep into the playoffs this year. Robert Rose, Ray Small, Bryant Browning and Royce Adams are just a few big names that should not only help the cause this season but they will all likely be on a Big Ten roster at this time a year from now. Glenville has had 7 players receive scholarships to Ohio State in the past four years and could add at least a couple more this year.

Small looks a little thicker than I remember from the Army AllStar Combine. Between him, Wallace and Coleman, thats 3 guys who could play CB or WR.... Gotta love the versatility that JT is putting together with his classes.

And we have a longshot chance at Hornsby, he's still keeping in touch with Hazell almost daily. That would give us 3-4 players that could go both ways.
