defenseless and more helmet vs. helmet contact than Ward's last week. Too much individual interpretation. Big 10 officials are the worst.

I'm not arguing with this statement, but I don't think that can be blamed on bad Big 10 referees. The rule is so inconsistently applied in all games, by all crews.

You are right. It is very inconsistent across the board. But, I watch a lot of college football, BIG 10 football especially, and they have had some doozies the past 2-3 seasons.
