Why would he stay to be in the 2-deep as a R-frosh?Unless someone above him leaves, he’s looking to be the 6th receiver.
Why would he stay?
Three of the five would be the same class or younger. He can go to another power-5 school and start next year. Plus, he received one year of Hartline coaching. If we continue to recruit at this level, we’ll continue to lose good receivers. Why would he stay to be in the 2-deep as a R-frosh?
I'm sure there are Buckeye legends who would have killed to be in the 2-deep as redshirt freshman
Could be just flat out homesick. All the crystal balls I’m seeing on 247 point to NC State as his landing spot
I can assure you, many Buckeye legends would leave in a heartbeat if they were going to be the 6th WR at best until their 4th year. Especially if they also had access to NIL like they do now. Let's not compare back in the day to the current CFB landscape. Those legends would leave for a paycheck and PT as wellWhy would he stay to be in the 2-deep as a R-frosh?

I don't think its not fighting for PT, its that your coach doesn't give you an opportunity. No excuse why Rogers couldn't play this year, same with Inniss, you can't tell me that Fleming was better than either, or that either shouldn't have been playing in blowoutsThis culture shift of not waiting and fighting for playing time is wildly infectious.
None at all! And I believe he also has multiple former HS teammates at NC State as wellNo shock.
Good luck kid!
