WR Noah Brown (Washington Commanders)

non-contact tibia & fibula break due to planting his foot the wrong way
that implies to me.. ankle too.. cuz that's the spot all these come together "when you plant the foot the wrong way" but body keeps moving...
basically you corkscrew until the tibia breaks.. but you have to have serious torque for the fibula to break.. altho it could be the bottom protruding parts that connect with the talus.. if tendons and ligaments didn't tear, that's one seriously strong hombre... cuz they usually go before the fibula gives way

in most sports, this is a major sprain.. but I'm guessing the engaged spikes didn't let the foot spin out
the rod is necessary because the tibia is non-weight bearing and needs the stabilizer to heal

Voice of experience on this

PS Usually this only occurs when some other force has added inertia.. like being hit while going up.. so 'non-contact' is a surprise

Leaning very heavily on Noah next year. Every man up has to exceed this years production. Brown, Marshall, Wilson, Samuel, Baugh have to be nuclear for IT to have the kind of year they can have while bringing the youngsters along s well.

Disagree, I believe well still be run heavy and can be with JT as QB and with our RB corp. we just need the WRs, to be consistent and don't make bone headed plays. Campbell needs to find his hands and gain some confidence. Marshall and Campbell can be very solid deep threats to go with McLaurin. Dixon and Hill will need to step up and be available to step up and move chains, but our WRs don't need to dominate and have 100yds every game, though itd be nice.

I totally agree, having Brown back boosts the perimeter run game tremendously, him and the dramatic improvement of Baugh's blocking, I think we will see a lot more perimeter runs until the new slobs can jell.

As far as the receivers, there is absolutely tooooooo much speed and talent. Geez, even if one steps up, that takes our offense to another level.
