WR Mylan Graham (Official Thread)

Deserved, funny to think back to when the services didn't have him top 100. I saw his film and it screamed 5 star, same kind of deal as Devier Posey when I saw him at LaSalle and knew he was a 5*.

But I get it, you only get so much evaluation material and things change as you get more tape and in-person evaluation. At this point, you have to put Mylan at 5 stars with what he is doing. I would expect to see McClellan rise some as well.
Outside of the top 100, let's go back to remembering when Hartline first offered him at camp when he was a skinny kid from IN with no stars

Graham says some college coaches will still contact him and try to get him to visit their school, but says that possibility is “out the window.” Well, he did try to make one other visit: To Notre Dame on Saturday, but that was only because he wanted to watch Ohio State play.

“They didn’t want to let me in,” Graham said with a laugh.

MIDWEST RECEIVERS

Mylan Graham

Mylan Graham (Nick Lucero/Rivals.com)
The Midwest has an unusual amount of wide receiver talent in the 2024 class with eight of the 26 Rivals250 receivers calling the region home. Wingo remains the lone receiver from the elite group yet to announce his pledge with
Mylan Graham
and
Jeremiah McClellan
committed to Ohio State,
Cam Williams
to Notre Dame,
NiTareon Tuggle
to Georgia,
Nicholas Marsh
to Michigan State,
I'Marion Stewart
to Michigan and
Kyan Berry-Johnson
to Wisconsin. One would assume things were pretty cut and dry with seven of the eight locked in to a program, but this is where it gets interesting.
Graham is heavily connected to Ohio State wide receiver coach Brian Hartline and should Hartline receive a head coaching opportunity prior to signing day, Graham could follow him or re-open his recruitment.
Mylan Graham
at No. 27 is the highest-ranked four-star receiver. If nothing were to change, both fall with in the 32 player five-star threshold and each could very well earn the extra star come our final rankings release.
Its hilarious to me seeing a kid from Indiana playing for the South Florida Express 7 on 7

The Hartline comment is pretty amusing...yeah, if he leaves then of course WRs are going to look around. But that wouldn't come before early signing day and probably not before NLOID in February. I get that there needs to be some news hook, but this recruitment is over.

Mylan is coming to Columbus, end of story. Go get that 5* though along the way.
