WR Mylan Graham (National Champion, transfer to Notre Dame)

No BS detected here.

Maybe some of our fans need a "Safe space."
Not sure what you even mean by this comment tbh.

But it is BS to talk trash about the school you left. It sounds like sour grapes and immaturity because he couldn't see the field and was passed up on the depth chart by a walk on. He sounds like he needs a "safe space", and didn't take to coaching and development at the level that OSU was seeking. And its not a secret that top athletes at colleges nationwide take online classes to lessen distractions of sitting in a classroom. The fact that ND hasn't caught on with the times speaks more to their program than OSU's

How did it sound like sour grapes?

Sorry but our guys are likely doing the bare minimum when it comes to academics. We’re a pro academy, with some light online classwork at this point.

End of the day, I doubt it’ll be that much different at ND. Especially when football really picks up (spring, fall).

Reminds me of one of my most useless “jobs” in my life….

Florida State basketball intern….first order of business each morning was to check on (3) specific players to make sure they were up and in class.

I’d call our “star” player and he’d whisper into phone “I can’t talk, I’m in class”.

I’d call his roommate to check on him as well, and he’d bluntly state…..”man, why you checking on me? You know I go to class. Tim’s still in bed….call him.”

Tim was the one who’d whisper he couldn’t talk bc he was “in class”.

I saw some funny shit those two years…

Weird. I applied to, and got into Fisher 2016 to get my MBA. There was not a single class you could take online for that degree. Now, maybe undergrad is different or post- Covid it has changed but if I could have done that with my work and family responsibilities I'd be an OSU grad right now instead of Ohio Dominican. Maybe that should actually be clarified, as many have said, before mouth breathers comment? But I forget it's the social media age and it's first come first serve with regard to truth. Fucks sake

Where's a cloud when I need something to yell at?!?

From what I gather covid changed a lot at least for athletes. They seem to take way more online classes and depending on how those online classes are policed add in NIL I wouldn't be surprised if people are paid to take classes for someone. Much like tutors paid or not would do homework/papers work for kids back in the day

I teach at a large university.
Many high volume courses the freshman year are available online. As classes become more advanced, there are fewer online options. It would be possible to do all or nearly all online for the first two years if you were taking basic classes in a non-STEM major.

Academic smack in this day and age is lamer than it used to be and it was lame as fuck back then.

They are professional athletes. I don't give a flying fuck if they go to school, don’t go to school, what kind of car they drive, how they spend their money or anything else they do as long as they stay out of jail.

I see them perform 3 hours a week 14 or so times a year. Thats it.

Play well. That’s all I ask.
