WR Michael Floyd (Arizona Cardinals)

Nothing against Floyd and I'm sure he'll be a fantastic WR for ND. But somebody like Weis could easily point out our stockpile... Taurian, Dane, Devon, Lamar, DeVire, Stoney and more than likely Cordale Scott. That's 7 guys in the soph/frosh classes. We'll see if he sticks to it...but, we all know what's going on in South Bend.... so best of luck with that.

Anyone see that coming, lol? I can't believe we didn't even get an official. Gotta' hand it to Charlie, he can recruit.
I doubt that the Fat Man sealed the deal - I suspect it was something else on young Mr. Floyd's mind.

With as crappy as the ND offense has been, Mike likely saw that his chances of playing as a true freshman are very good.
That would be one of things that would fit the bill.

Evidently he meant against 'SC, once a year :)

Good luck to Mike in South Bend.

You're going to need it.

Good luck to Mike in South Bend. This one hurts, even with the deep WR class we have plus with all of the recent good news in our favor, but oh well, that's recruiting. I guess, to put a positive spin on this, it somewhat opens a spot for Travis Howard or another DLman like Shawntel Rowell.

Noooooooooo.....

I guess on the bright side WR is a position that we have a ton of depth at. I still think that Mike would have been at the top of the crop of receivers we would have had, but when it's all said and done, I like our guys.

Not to mention I'm sure Tressel and the other coaches would rather have a guy who embraces the competition, not someone who just wants early PT without challenge. Good luck to him anyway.
