The only kind of national exposure they are getting these days is a Roast at the NY Friars Club! I've heard it said that any exposure is good exposure, but, whew, how far are they willing to take it???? Go Bucks! :oh:

Alright, we get it...never leave another Buckeye hanging...that stuff just clutters recruit threads.

Scout $

9/28

Coach Hazell will be at Mike's game tonight and then Mike will be in Minneapolis tomorrow. Might visit OSU for the Wisconsin game but the article says ND still has a slight lead.

The only scheduled official football recruiting visit for Cretin-Derham Hall wide receiver Michael Floyd is to Notre Dame on Oct. 20 for its game against Southern California. The state's top football prospect will visit South Bend, Ind., with his parents.

Meanwhile, Ohio State wide receivers coach Darrell Hazell, who has coached nine No. 1 NFL draft picks, will attend Cretin-Derham Hall's game against Roseville tonight at the University of St. Thomas. Floyd will attend Saturday night's Gophers-Ohio State game in the Metrodome.

Ohio State and Notre Dame are the front-runners for Floyd, who has a 3.3 grade-point average. The Gophers remain hopeful.

Ohio State doesn't schedule official recruiting visits until after its season, so if Floyd decides to commit before December, which is a possibility, that would seem to favor Notre Dame.

Seriously that is just downright horrible reporting...Do a little research...:!

Gotta like the fact that the coaches are using the trip to Minny as a recruiting trip as well, as they are going to take in Flyod's and Mboley's games...

Flyod & Mboley? :p

Its interesting to see that OSU is now one of the top choices for recruits from Minnesota. Getting Lil' Animal will prove to beneficial for the Buckeyes in recruiting that state down the road. It seems Tress is really starting to produce relationships with the top schools there. If we don't get Mobley or Floyd at least we will have relationships with the coaches at those schools and younger players from that state will be looking at OSU more often than not.

Doc Tressel's years coaching up there are the main reason for this growth in Minnesota just as Coach Danniels history in Pennsylvania have been a nice startup there.

I have to think that once Minnesota starts playing in their new stadium, it's going to be a lot harder to pull recruits from them.
