Conversely, he couldn't even cut it on the Browns, who weren't exactly loaded at the position. I thought he would have the career Hartline had

BUCKEYE ON BUCKEYE CRIME

A few former Buckeyes went at it on the field, Sunday, and when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, things get interesting.

Michael Thomas and Bradley Roby spent much of Sunday night matched up against each other, and Roby had the rookie's number.

First, Roby played excellent coverage on Thomas, tipping the ball in the air to force an interception.



The very next drive, he chased Thomas down and knocked the ball out of his hands force a fumble.



Thomas had a less than stellar day, overall. He caught four passes for 40 yards, but he also lost two fumbles and dropped a pass that resulted in an interception. However, he's still the top rookie receiver in the league.

Easily the standout rookie at his position in the NFL this year and I am not in the least bit surprised, Mike's game was tailored to the pros.

PLAY OF THE WEEK

Last week, Michael Thomas paid homage to his Buckeye days with a jump ball touchdown reception. This week, he did it with a slant route.



The play looked remarkably similar to this one against Michigan State, only he came just shy of the end zone in the latest version.

Would have complimented AJ Green quite nicely. Meanwhile, Cincinnati's first round pick didn't play a single down this season.
