Oh what 2015 should have been..Leading rusher, rookie leader in sacks, rookier leader in receiving yards... oh what 2015 could have been.
Oh what 2015 should have been..
Thomas's rookie stats: 92 receptions, 1135 yards, and 9 TDs
Meanwhile, the Browns' five rookie receivers combined for 68 receptions, 825 yards, and 5 TDs
15? What 2015 AND 2016 could have been Each of those guys had eligibility remaining.Leading rusher, rookie leader in sacks, rookier leader in receiving yards... oh what 2015 could have been.
What we didn't realize, though, was that Thomas had done all this on just 121 targets. That gave him a catch rate of 76 percent
Granted a lot of it has to do with being a possession receiver and having Brees as a QB, but he has 65 catches on only 85 targets, which seems incredible to me.
CAN'T GUARD MIKE: MICHAEL THOMAS HAD THE BEST ROOKIE SEASON SINCE RANDY MOSS

According to Football Outsiders, Thomas had the best rookie season of any wide receiver since Randy Moss.
