WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist, Arizona Cardinals)

  • Harrison on his younger brother, Jett Harrison, who has shined in youth football this fall: "He's great. He's more talented than I ever was at that age. He's starting early with the routes and everything from my dad. I am super excited to see how he comes along. It's gonna be very scary to see how he progresses."
  • When asked if he has already recruited Jett to Ohio State, Harrison said, "Yeah, of course."

LOVE Marv...I know we are getting 3 incredible years from him, but I am selfish and want one more. Obviously he has the talent, but his intelligence, work ethic, and humbleness is really refreshing. Very candid, you can see it in his face when he answers questions. He seriously cares about his teammates and puts the team first. Very rare these days.

Man I hope he lights it up enough for a Heisman. He said he just wants to beat the team up north and win the B1G for upcoming goals....mad respect on that focus, but I hope he gets the stats to bring the Heisman back to Columbus and for Marvin individually because he seriously deserves it.

I don’t know the precedent of whether or not BP has ever had a recruiting thread for an 8th grader.
We did for Keith Byars’ kid, I believe.

Edit - I created a thread when he was 10.

Couldn’t agree more. Still pains me that he got knocked out of the GA game. We’re seriously defending champions if that didn’t happen. He’s that much of a difference maker. Hope he gets to enjoy a championship in Indy and another shot in the CFP.

I know man, we still almost overcame it but at the very least I know Marv gets us at least 5-10 more yards on that last drive so Ruggles is in comfortable range to win it. But like you said, he is in prime position to achieve all of the above (also emphasizing the he needs a pair of gold pants)...I just love that he admits that yeah going to NYC for a shot at the Heisman would be cool, but beating ttun, winning the B1G and then the whole thing in the natty is what drives him. Some players just say that, but Marv means it.
