WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist, Arizona Cardinals)

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. continued his magical sophomore season Saturday in the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes' 56-14 trouncing of the Indiana Hoosiers at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Harrison went off for 135 yards and one touchdown on seven receptions, while also rushing for 18 yards on one carry in the undefeated Buckeyes' 10th win of the season, leading multiple people on social media to marvel at his ability and declare him the top wideout in college football:

Entering play Saturday, Harrison had recorded 53 receptions for 834 yards and 10 touchdowns, and his performance against Indiana kept him firmly in the race to win the Biletnikoff Award as the top wide receiver in the nation.

Harrison may also be in the mix for the Heisman Trophy, although Stroud was the favorite when play began this week.

Thanks in part of Harrison's play, Stroud bolstered his case Saturday with 297 yards and five touchdowns through the air.

He is likely still the Heisman favorite as the quarterback for arguably the best team in the nation, but if Harrison continues to produce at the level he has this season, he may have to be considered as well.

Question: What is the best thing about Marvin Harrison Jr?

He's just a Sophomore, he'll be back next year.......8D

Marvin Harrison Jr. is just an absurd player. He was a barely-played backup until our bowl game last year, in which he caught 3 TDs. This is basically his first year with playing time. WR1 goes down early in game 1, and Harrison has not let us miss a beat. He routes, hands, blocking, work ethic, and attitude are all outstanding. And did anyone catch what Joel Klatt was saying about his strength numbers? Something like a 380 lb bench and can rep 225 a bunch of times (can't remember the amount he said but it was crazy), at his weight and age. That doesn't seem real. The NFL / NFLPA should be able to issue waivers for special talents like Harrison Jr., and not have him risk serious injury by making him wait another year to be draft eligible.

Ummm he's the best receiver since Devonte Smith who won the Heisman. But, he plays for Ohio State so meh, he's ok I guess
I was watching halftime at some game yesterday. And they were going on and on how a ND receiver made the catch of the year. I was like clearly you have not seen that catch Marvin Harrison made. I mean it was Indiana and not a TD so I forgive them but pinning it to someones back has nothing on this

And to think, going into the season, JSN was considered the best WR since Smith... OSU loses arguably the best WR in the country, and has another WR who's now considered the best in the country! Crazy to think how deep and talented that room is

Reminds me a bit of 2018 when we had Nick Bosa and Chase Young, but neither were healthy together that season. Huge what-ifs for me

There have been a number of What Ifs in the last 15yrs of being an OSU fan. We should've had at least 2-3 more NCs in that span. But I digress:mad2:...

Saw a snippet from Klatt that he’s accounted for 49% of passing production over the last 3 games. I don’t know what I think in response to that data. Is it concerning? Is he just that fucking good? Are Fleming and Egbuka struggling to generate separation recently? Are all potentially true due to varying degrees?

I’m relatively young but I’ve never seen a guy with a catch radius like that; it is absolutely fucking insane how well he controls himself while in the air and his ability to judge and track the ball is just stupid.

Egbuka and Fleming I think have just dropped some huge plays like Fleming dropped a what 50 yard TD last week. Though Stroud missed Harrison on what would have probably been a 70 yarder.

While everything posted about marvy Marv on this page is true, I think he’s the best receiver in college football today because he’s always open.

The wild thing is IMO, the #2 WR in country is Hyatt at TN. But Hyatt is wide open on play designs…..which is fine, kid executed those plays at high level.

Marv is always open in the face of double teams and bracket coverage. He’s just a freak…..he’s always open bc u can just throw it up to him.

Im a big catch radius guy…..any receiver I want on field, I want to have a huge catch radius. I feel like Marv might have one of the largest catch radius’s I can recall……as an FYI, catch radius isn’t just about size…..for example, Steve Smith had one of the larger catch radius’s i can recall…..it’s all about body positioning and playing the football.
