MARVIN HARRISON JR., WR, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES

It comes as no surprise Jaxon Smith-Njigba is garnering most the preseason Heisman love alongside C.J. Stroud has the headliners for the Ohio State offense, but Harrison is going to have a big season, too. Just watch. He has the size, hands and athletic ability when the ball's in the air to go get it and showcased some of those qualities during the Buckeyes' Rose Bowl win over Utah last time out. Given the expectation Stroud will surpass 4,000 yards and 40 touchdown tosses this season, that production at the wide receiver position has to come from somewhere and Smith-Njigba will pick up much of the attention. That's where Harrison comes in.

Swapping out the current 1st rounders for the next wave of 1st rounders isn't going to really make the WR position any better (or worse) but the 1st year starting QB coming back for his second year will make the overall passing attack better.

2011 may as well be 1911 it's so far away from today's talent and production at WR. JSN had more catches in the Rose Bowl than our leading WR did for all of 2011. And then you have someone like MHJ who barely played all year step up for 3 huge TD's. Crazy how much our offense has evolved over the last 10 years

Wow - it IS true. 2011, Devin Smith, Corey Brown, and Jake Stoneburner each had 14 receptions. In the Rose Bowl, JSN had 15 receptions.

That's nuts.
