Nation’s Top 2020 Wide Receiver Julian Fleming Visiting Ohio State
Five-star 2020 wide receiver Julian Fleming is visiting Ohio State today. He is ranked the No. 1 receiver in the 2020 class and the No. 2 player in the nation overall per 247Sports.
Fleming (6-2 190) is from Catawissa, Pennsylvania and is coming off of a sophomore season where he caught 69 passes for 1,462 yards and 20 touchdowns. This was after a freshman season where he finished with 36 receptions for 956 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Ohio State has previously offered, as have schools like Penn State, Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson. The visit to OSU is one of many visits Fleming has taken this spring. He has already been to Penn State three times since April. Last week he was at Virginia Tech, and also took visits to Georgia and Alabama a couple of months ago.
Catawissa is about 90 miles from State College, which is one of the reasons that Penn State is the prohibitive favorite to land Fleming.
The fact that he is paying for unofficial visits, however, will give other schools hope until the possibly inevitable commitment to Penn State happens.
