WR Jeremiah Smith (Official Thread)

Is there some indication this kid is decommitting already?

I just read a FB post that indicated it may be a thing.
As long as Hartline is coaching at OSU, I'm pretty sure Smith is remaining a Buckeye. His recruitment will be a journey/roller coaster, and rumors will run wild. But until he actually decommits, I wouldn't pay much attention to what others are saying about his recruitment on social media. I'd set the over/under at 5 different twitter accounts claiming that he's going to Miami, FSU, Bama, UGA, UF and WVU, and also how much money he'd be taking to go to one of those schools(6 to 7 figures)

It has to be frustrating when your words are constantly twisted to make them seem like you're not as interested in the Buckeyes, and leaning to whatever program's website that you're interviewing with. The gift and curse of being a highly talented recruit. Everyone wants to hear what you're going to say, and your words affect entire fanbases, no matter if they're subliminal or not even referencing them at all.

Like has been said before, an early verbal from a southern recruit just means you're in their top 5. I'll believe he signs with OSU when he's listed on the official roster. Till then, yawn
True story, yet when it comes to Hartline's guys, the percentages seem tilted much more in our favor.

"All the better to hurdle you my dear. "

OK that is funny, from the Twitter post.
So.....a few things from this.

It looks like part of the rules the NCAA is changing to make games faster or something includes making the ball ginormous. That, paired with our......uh.....ability in the WR screen game makes it so we need WRs who are apparently 8 feet tall but can hurdle tacklers. I think we're gonna be ok here.
