WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Frosh/WR of Year, All-American)

That was just ridiculous. I don't even know how I'm so amazed by what this kid can do. I'll always think to Days' reaction of relief at the NLOID conference when he got word that JJ was coming here. I get it now, holy crap.
I still remember being pumped by Ted Ginns potential before he started playing in 2004 (Indiana his breakout game about 7 games in).

It was to the point today where I knew it was too quiet for Jeremiah. Like when he has zero targets through midway 2nd you know it’s coming in a big way.

And it did…

The first half was frustrating, as the Buckeyes ran 32 plays for 199 yards (6.2 average) but managed to score only 7 points thanks to a fumble (Jeremiah Smith is human, after all), an interception (bad decision, bad throw), and a turnover on downs (gutsy move, questionable play call).

Emeka Egbuka on his leadership once true freshman Jeremiah Smith fumbled the ball in the second quarter. "Jeremiah's is not one you really have to encourage," Egbuka said. "He's harder on himself than anybody can possibly be."

Just sayin': .........
