A 40-year Ohio State record has been broken.

With an 18-yard catch against Penn State, Jeremiah Smith surpassed Cris Carter for the most single-season receiving yards ever from an Ohio State freshman. Carter's record of 648 yards had stood in the Ohio State record book since 1984. Smith exceeded that total in his eighth appearance for the Buckeyes.

And he could have kept his TD streak alive if he hadn‘t slowed slightly on a deep ball in the second half that Howard put on the money.

Howard has very very seldom overthrown a WR.. so much so Smith probably figured same so he slowed up and then realized the ball was beyond him at that speed.. He should not have taken his foot off the gas but sure it was that he's never been overthrown before.. till now
I think if he never stops, the ball is under thrown and it's still not a TD. But you still can't stop.

Also, still good.
