WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Freshman of Year, B1G WR of Year, Unanimous All-American, 2025 Rose Bowl Off MVP, National Champion)

Absolutely baffles me how Jeremiah has not received the Biletnikoff (sp) award yet. He's done all of it, catches, TDs, YAC, big plays, that you'd want to see in a WR, and of course, helps the team win games, with the 'big catch'. Of course, I have a myopic view of the world, centered around the Buckeyes, and not an all-worldly one. Maybe this is the year?

Compare this guy to Underwood. One guy has been the best player in the sport since he stepped on the field and is still the hardest worker in practice, blocks his ass off, roots his ass off for WR2 and is the most solid teammate in the locker room. The other guy is a $12M mouth.

tdfbia certainly stumbled into one truism. There really is a fundamental culture difference between the two programs.

Actually asking: is he going to be making more money than most of the rookie NFL receivers?

In terms of just one year salary? Almost certainly yes but I don't know what JS is making.

For perspective, 2nd round guys are making $1.4-$2.4MM for the first year of their contract in 2026.

He's probably already made the equivalent of a NFL 2nd round draft pick in the 3rd year of a 4 year contract. Maybe a lot more, I just have no idea of what he (reportedly) makes.
