OHIO STATE WIDE RECEIVER COMMIT JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA HAS 325-YARD, FOUR-TOUCHDOWN GAME, INCLUDING SPECTACULAR ONE-HANDED CATCH
For his senior season as a whole, Smith-Njigba has now caught 66 passes for 1,432 yards and 23 touchdowns, even after missing time with a shoulder injury.
Smith-Njigba is ranked as the No. 57 overall prospect and No. 9 wide receiver in 247Sports' composite rankings for the class of 2020, and is one of four top-100-ranked wide receiver recruits for the Buckeyes in that class, along with
Julian Fleming (No. 3 overall),
Gee Scott Jr. (No. 64) and
Mookie Cooper (No. 78). He's set to be one of at least top-100 wide receiver prospects to arrive in Columbus in a three-year span, along with current true freshmen
Garrett Wilson and
Jameson Williams and 2021 commits Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jayden Ballard.

Just sayin':
1) Undoubtedly the top WR haul in any 2020 recruiting class, which is a real credit to Brian Hartline*.
2) Add in Chris Olave, Jaylen Harris, and Jaelen Gill; and the receiving unit next year will really be a deep and talented group. It will be interesting to see which of the four incoming freshman are the best "route runners" and "downfield blockers" (which will go a long way in determining how much playing time they get, etc.).
* It's amazing how lucky the Buckeyes (i.e. and Urban Meyer) were to have him already on the staff after Zack Smith was fired.......
