Want to be a Buckeye? We are thrilled to have you.
Don't want to be a Buckeye? Make it clear to the coaches, and we will wish you luck elsewhere.

Plain and simple. No drama.

It's not that cut-and-dry. JL may not even know where he wants to go at this point. Right now, OSU has the verbal and UF denied him once before. That means we have a leg up at this point in time. Obviously, he will need to be sold a little more than other recruits but I like where we stand at this juncture.

well, i guess, as a fan, i just wish that he is and will be forth coming with our coaches. i am sure at this point Coach Tressel has already advised him to do a little more "soul" searching, perhaps to look around, before he is absolutely committed. I am not saying that our coaches wants him to go elsewhere. he will still be feeling wanted by us, BUT, as Coach Tressel's track record showed, he would not want a kid to commit without being 100% sure that the recruit wants to be a Buckeye. Meanwhile, i am confident that we will honor the offer until JL defer his commitment.
I know kids that age have a ever so changing mind. I just hope that JL will do the right thing to not to hold our coaches up from extending his offer to other deserving recruits IF and ONLY IF he decides to decommit.

Lynden Trail - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

Don't know if this makes a difference....

Defensive end Lynden Trail and receiver Quinton Dunbar, both three-star teammates at Booker T. Washingon (Miami, Fla.), have indicated they are ready to chose Florida for the Class of 2010.

Dunbar, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound standout, had 39 receptions for 703 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior.

Once committed to Miami-Florida, Dunbar has also drawn offers from Central Florida, Arkansas, Florida International, Michigan, Purdue, Tennessee and West Virginia, among others.

Atlantic 47, Park Vista 36: Long pass play leads Eagles

Friday, October 09, 2009
by Cristina Ledra

DELRAY BEACH ? Atlantic coach Andre Thaddies called it an "Oh, Lord" moment.

A pass from Park Vista quarterback Justin Davis was tipped into the hands of wide receiver Demaris Freeman while he was running at full speed, and 97 yards later, the Cobras had a three-point lead with 2:04 left in their game Friday.

It turns out Atlantic had a couple of "Oh, Lord" moments of its own to dish out before the day was done.

. . .

Park Vista's next offensive play was the 97-yard touchdown from Freeman.

"I was like 'Oh man,'" Atlantic senior James Louis said. "They got lucky but they made a play. That's football."

Setting out for the quick strike, Eagles quarterback Mark Leal found Ezekiel Turner for a 61-yard completion that set up the same duo for the 5-yard score.

With Atlantic up 40-36 and 1:26 left to go, Louis had one request.

"I was like 'Coach, please put me in on defense and I'll make a play,'" Louis said.

He sealed the game with a 71-yard interception return for a touchdown.

James Louis had three catches for 99 yards and a 71 yard INT return for a TD.

Atlantic 55, Royal Palm Beach 13: Quarterback Mark Leal threw for 350 yards and five touchdowns to guide the Eagles past the host Wildcats.

Despite the lopsided score, Royal Palm Beach (2-3) fought within eight points shortly after halftime before Atlantic (4-2) scored five unanswered touchdowns.

Leal completed his first six passes ? the last a 20-yard scoring strike to Ezekiel Turner ? to put the Eagles up 21-0 with 11 minutes to play in the half.

The Wildcats' Malcolm Pendergrass hit tailback Javonti Greene over the middle for a 66-yard touchdown after halftime to close to 21-13.

But that would be as close as they would get.

Leal threw two touchdown passes to James Louis .

The Gophers also got a commitment from Donnell Kirkwood, a running back who plays for former Gopher Andre Thaddies at Delray Beach Atlantic in Florida. And visiting here this weekend is wide receiver James Louis from the same school, who had previously committed to national champion Florida, then changed his mind and committed to Ohio State, and now apparently is reconsidering.

He took a trip with his buddy who is a Gopher commit. When he starts visitng schools that can dream about winning a NC as opposed to schools that dream about winning the Big 10, I will start worrying about if he sticks. Otherwise I think we all need to chill.
