Watching him run away from Princeton HS DBs tells me this guy has sprinter speed to go along with his toughness. Princeton and Colerain dominate the Cincinnati area in sprints and relays and those are the same kids that play DB for them.

So then I looked up his track stats:
Personal Bests
200 Meter Dash
23.24
400 Meter Dash
55.24
High Jump
6-6
Long Jump
22-3.75

AS A SOPHOMORE!!!

To be sure, with all the calls and comparison to Harvin that almost every player/prospect we are after gets, this is the closest to hitting home imo. Jalin has borderline elite speed, has the shake and bake, and is a strong runner (something people frequently forget about Harvin). I just think anything outside of the top 10 nationally is too low for Jalin. Only real question mark is how transitions to the RB/WR role at the next level.

I've heard he would be ranked much higher if he had a definite position and not just as an athlete. 24/7 ranking is good for him, they rank him top 10 overall.

Here's another, via the Enquirer:

bilde

McKnight drew double coverage throughout and scored 11, well off his Greater Miami Conference-leading average of 19.5, but senior guard Jalin Marshall picked up the slack with a career high 21. Sophomore forward Vincent Edwards scored 13 points and sophomore center Chance Sorrell added 11.

"I just want to win," Marshall said. "Whatever I need to do. They were double-teaming players and they just kicked me the ball and I was open."

I hate to essentially do a bump, as one of the best things about Buckeyeplanet is that typically threads get action when theirs news to report, but the 4th page of the recruiting forum is just no place for Mr. Excitement to be buried.

With the small numbers(anticipated) for this class its nice to have Jalin be so versatile. If we only take one RB(Elliot), Jalin could be more of a RB with slot duties. If we go with 2 RBs, Jalin can be a full time slot guy who gets the occasional inside the tackle handoffs. Not too mention, he still hasn't given up on the idea of being a QB at the college level.
