This is GREAT news! This made me just say YES! Congrats we all knew Grant would be offered and is a heck of a player. A very good addition to this class I really think he is highly underrated by recruiting services and was the steal of this class.

I'm pumped about this. I love this kid. I know OSU has landed some more sought after recruits than Grant (even though he's awesome too), but for some reason I can't remember the last time I took a liking to a recruit like I have to Grant. I just geeked about this kid. I wish I could get some tapes of his high school games. He's just so much fun to watch. Congrats to Grant and best wishes to him.

Man, thank goodness for the offer. The first post I read was about Duane thinking OSU would not offer. I instantly hoped he was wrong. Thankfully he was. This is a great offer! I hope I can soon say "Welcome aboard, Grant!"

Duane has posted that if the offer is true, it is ridiculous because tOSU already has too many safeties. He has not been high on Schwartz, apparently because of his lack of big time offers. Read into that what you will.

I have posted this before, but I really do believe that Grant may be the Plan B QB in this class. If Henton doesn't make it through admissions, I wouldn't be stunned to see Grant start out at QB on the scout team, redshirt, and have the staff assess where he best fits going into his RS frosh year. And before anyone brings up Bellisari, remember he was recruited as a QB and Grant was recruited as a safety.

Congrats, Grant and dad Brian....and "good move," JT! Like many other Buckeye fans, I can stop stratching my head in disappointing amazement now. Hope the JT phone call goes well and we can all celebrate very soon.....Please keep us posted, laguna. Go Grant! Go Brian! Go Bucks!

Well, it's about time!
I trust the coaches much more than an offer list, anyway. (see Malcolm Jenkins)
now the ball is finally in Grant's court - I think he knows what to do with it!
