WR Evan Spencer (BIG Champion, National Champion)

Psh...don't take it back. Fuck them. I'm so sick of this politically correct boo hoo you can't say that bull[Mark May]. I had zero problems with it, especially because he CLEARLY stated he is biased towards his own team and even said it's just his own opinion. Go watch soccer if you're getting all worked up over this.

Hey, take that back. That was disrespectful to soccer fans!! :roll1:

The whole thing was taken out of context, in reality it was a tongue in cheek remark. But ESPiN had to make a big deal out of what was essentially a joke quip. ESPiN should take it back. One of the problems with instant information, often times the information handed out from these misinformation media outlets is inadequate at best.

This is not "political correctness", it's bulletin board material, whether it was intentional or not. The media will spin shit any way it can to get site hits or eyes on the TV...don't give them anything they can use.

Pretty much, but as much as I don't like ESPiN -- it's not just them that does this. The entire media tries to ask loaded questions, and then spin the responses completely out of context.
It's not like this is limited to sports media either, it's pretty much all journalism. They do the same crap whether it's sports, news, politics, science, etc.
And when they don't get 'interesting' answers b/c people are aware of the way they do business, they paint the person as being dull/boring/hiding something, etc.
They're creepy as all hell.
