WR DeVier Posey (2017 Grey Cup Champion and MVP)

How big of a difference do ya'll think Posey will make in what amounts to our two hardest remaining, regular season games? I for one, am extremely excited to see him get out there and help us to stomp PSU and scUM.

he should make a huge impact even without catching a pass...his leadership and experience he will bring to our young WR corps will be huge, his blocking, and he will possibly command help from safety's in certain situations freeing up other WR's...when he comes back it wont be hurting us i know that

Just remember we're talking about his first action in over 10 months against guys who have been playing every saturday since august. To think he's going to immediately pick up where he left off may be a tad optimistic.

I'm looking forward to having him, but tempering my expectations out of the gate.

True, but he's not replacing or competing against Holmes, Ginn, Gonzalez, Robiskie, Hartline or Sanzenbacher, at least not at this point in their careers.

He's going to have a big impact just by being on the field. PSU and scUM will have to formulate defensive schemes that treat him as if he is the threat he was the past couple of years. Their best cover corners are going to be on him and our younger guys should be able to get open.

He's been grinding it out on the scout team too, I'm sure.

I was thinking on these same lines, if he was working out with the scout team and now that i know that, i was thinking maybe he was working with the our young De backs like Roby and the others. I think he will be ready
to play with vengence. I wonder if he is able to work with Braxton Miller in regards to thier timing ? Just asking.........

Lot easier for a running back to do it than a WR who has never played a down in a game with the new QB. I'm hopeful, but you're talking two entirely different positions.

So is Posey still on track to play against PoSU and TSUN? Hadn't heard anything lately.
